Is the Studhome certificate accepted by consulates?

The Studhome certificate is designed to meet what consular authorities expect for a long-stay student visa (VLS-TS):

  • it is tied to a real address in a Colonies residence, an operator housing thousands of students every year;
  • it is issued and signed by SAS COLONIES, a company registered in France;
  • it carries a verification QR code the consulate can scan to check its authenticity online.

Let's be transparent: no document can "guarantee" a visa: the decision always belongs to the consulate, which weighs your whole file (admission, funds, insurance, accommodation). The certificate secures the accommodation part of that file.

And if your visa is refused on the accommodation ground alone (ground 5), the certificate is refunded at 100%.

This is also why fake attestations with fictional addresses must be avoided: consulates cross-check addresses, and a fake document leads straight to refusal.
