How does the consulate verify my certificate?
Every Studhome certificate carries a unique QR code. By scanning it, the consular officer reaches a verification page dedicated to authorities, which confirms:
- the document's authenticity (unique certificate reference);
- the holder's identity;
- the address of the Colonies residence involved;
- the validity period.
This one-scan verification is a real differentiator: with fake attestations in circulation, a document that is checkable online with its issuer gives the consulate a simple way to verify your file. That is one of the reasons the certificate is designed to be accepted.
Three practical consequences for you:
- always attach the full, unmodified PDF to your application (never a cropped screenshot);
- print it in good quality for the appointment;
- after an amendment, use only the new PDF; the old QR code is invalidated.
