How does the consulate verify my certificate?

Every Studhome certificate carries a unique QR code. By scanning it, the consular officer reaches a verification page dedicated to authorities, which confirms:

  • the document's authenticity (unique certificate reference);
  • the holder's identity;
  • the address of the Colonies residence involved;
  • the validity period.

This one-scan verification is a real differentiator: with fake attestations in circulation, a document that is checkable online with its issuer gives the consulate a simple way to verify your file. That is one of the reasons the certificate is designed to be accepted.

Three practical consequences for you:

  • always attach the full, unmodified PDF to your application (never a cropped screenshot);
  • print it in good quality for the appointment;
  • after an amendment, use only the new PDF; the old QR code is invalidated.
