What exactly does the Studhome certificate contain?
The certificate is a signed PDF gathering everything a consular officer expects from a proof of accommodation:
- your identity: first and last name, date and place of birth, nationality;
- the full address of the pre-reserved home in the Colonies portfolio;
- the housing type and monthly rent, utilities included, taken from the real portfolio (see who sets the rent);
- the housing period covered;
- the signature and stamp of SAS COLONIES, the issuer;
- a verification QR code the consulate can scan to check authenticity.
It also includes bilingual annexes (French/English): the step-by-step guide to declare your accommodation on France-Visas, the refund terms, and what to do once your visa is granted.
Before paying, check that your first name, last name and date of birth match your passport exactly: an amendment after purchase is possible, but it is charged.
